This is the highest number of dormitory cases since Oct 8 last year, when there were four cases. An MOH spokesman said in an update on Monday evening that 188 people in the affected block have tested negative for Covid-19, while test results for the remaining 97 are pending. So far, no one has tested positive for Covid-19, she added. MOH and the Ministry of National Development said on Sunday that the authorities would conduct mandatory polymerase chain reaction testing at the block after four Covid-19 cases were detected in two different households there.
