KUWAIT CITY, March 11: Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic and Operation Affairs at the Ministry of Interior Major General Jamal Al- Sayegh conveyed the instructions and directives of the Minister of Interior Sheikh Thamer Al-Ali, and the Undersecretary of the ministry Lieutenant General Essam Al-Naham, regarding the implementation of extensive campaigns to arrest all the reckless motorists in the country, reports Al-Rai daily.
During these campaigns, reckless motorists who intentionally tamper with the exhaust system of the vehicles to produce annoying noises, especially when they are racing with their cars on the highways, and when they are showing off their recklessness in residential areas, were arrested. In order to accommodate the hundreds of violating vehicles that were seized, the site of the Ministry of Interior’s spring camp in Sabhan area was converted into a seized-vehicle garage more than a week ago.

KUWAIT CITY, March 10: The Court of Appeals decided to refer the former assistant undersecretary for Training Affairs at the Ministry of Interior Major General Sheikh Mazen Al-Jarrah to the Central Prison after he surrendered himself to the authority. The court rejected the request to end the detention of the defendants in the case related to the Bangladeshi MP. It set the session of March 14 to summon the investigation officer, reports Al-Rai daily.
Meanwhile, the Public Prosecution ordered the arrest of Sheikh Mazen Al- Jarrah in a new case in which he was accused of money laundering. It also ordered the arrest of the accused Nawaf Al- Mutairi in connection with the same case. On the other hand, the investigation committee in the ministerial court ordered the extension of the detention of former minister of Interior Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah until March 14.
