Covid-19: How did the Brisbane Airport breach happen? Could that happen at New Zealand airports?

How did this happen? Brisbane Airport’s Covid-safe plan has been approved by the Queensland Government and has received an Airports Health Accreditation, which is reviewed by the Airports Council International. All passengers are required to wear masks within the airport – even in the carpark – and sanitising and physical distancing are recommended and encouraged. Specific details around how the green and red zones operate haven’t yet been revealed by the airport, but based on information on the website, quarantine-free passengers proceed through the international departure process as they would have pre-Covid. Passengers go through security screening and passport control before arriving at their departure gate.

New pre-school lunchbox rules hard to swallow

A choke-safe fruit platter fit for pre-schoolers. OPINION: A friend, after hosting my once-young children for fish and chips, commented that the Stannard kids were the only ones who cried, not when the hot chips ran out, but when all the lemon slices were gone. Even at a young age our lot had developed a taste for many different foods, and plenty of them. Now as young adults they eat and enjoy just about any food. Taking advice from our elders, other parents, and being half sensible, we exposed our kids to a wide variety of foods and restricted processed sugary stuff from the time they were weaned. At parties, of course, they’d go berserk on cake and lollies, but that was fine as it wasn’t the norm.
