RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK – Amazon is giving you the chance to put some artificial intelligence on your wrist as part of a new health service.
“The new app offers a suite of AI-powered health features that provide actionable insights into overall wellness and the accompanying Amazon Halo Band uses multiple sensors to accurately capture important health metrics,” Amazon says.
The Halo app has five core features, according to Amazon:
Activity: Amazon Halo goes beyond counting steps to measure the intensity and duration of your activity, as well as your sedentary time. Then it helps you track it all against a weekly goal of 150 points based on recommendations from the American Heart Association.
