Welcome to the homepage of the International Bar Association Foundation. The International Bar Association Foundation is a US-based charitable foundation, established in 1986 by members of the International Bar Association (IBA) to engage in educational and charitable activities related to advancing the rule of law.
The Foundation was created by members of the IBA and was reorganized in 2017 to be a supporting organization of the IBA. Under the new structure, the Foundation now focuses its efforts to help fund major IBA rule of law initiatives. The primary undertaking of the Foundation is to support major rule of law projects initiated by the IBA.

The College of Law is pleased to announce that Virginia C. Robbins has joined the college as interim assistant dean of Career Services. In this position, Robbins will develop programs and services to support and advise students as they embark on their career journeys and assist employers and alumni seeking to engage and hire Syracuse Law talent. Robbins began in her new post on May 1.

Until recently of counsel at Bond, Schoeneck & King PLLC, Robbins retired as a member of the law firm in December 2018. During her tenure, Robbins chaired Bond’s environmental and energy practice (2000-16), advising clients on state and federal regulatory compliance issues, particularly in the areas of air and water pollution control and solid and hazardous waste management.
