Husband and wife Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas announced the nominations in all 23 Oscar categories from a remote feed in London. In addition to the nominations, it was revealed that the April 25 Oscar ceremony will take place at both L.A. s Union Station and the Dolby Theatre, the dual locations marking a first for the Academy. Jesse Collins, Stacey Sher and Steven Soderbergh are producing the telecast.

Higher Ground productions picked up Worth, a 9/11 drama that sat on the shelf for 13 months, and teamed with Kevin Hart to release Fatherhood despite the comedian having drawn criticism for old homophobic jokes.
Since forming production label Higher Ground in 2018, Barack and Michelle Obama have brandished a golden touch when it comes to documentaries, having backed last year’s Oscar winner American Factory and this year’s shortlisted contender
Crip Camp.
But a pair of recent moves by the company raised eyebrows around town. On Feb. 17, Higher Ground and Netflix acquired the 9/11 drama
Higher Ground, the Obamas production label, is drawing scrutiny from Hollywood after acquiring the rights to the new Kevin Hart film, Fatherhood.
The production acquired the rights to the film on March 4 and are set to distribute it through Netflix in the summer.
It s one of two notable films the production label has recently acquired, along with Worth, a drama centered around September 11 that stars Michael Keaton.
As for Fatherhood, its acquisition is controversial due to Hart himself, who landed in hot water years ago after old homophobic tweets surfaced.
