Article Writing Competition ‘Exploring Egypt: Past, Present & Future’ Organized

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Certificate Distribution Ceremony of the Article Writing Competition “Exploring Egypt: Past, Present & Future” was held at the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in Islamabad on February 2.
The Competition was jointly organized by the Egyptian Embassy in Islamabad and the Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS) to enhance bilateral ties and cooperation between Egypt and Pakistan, and to acquaint students with knowledge of the socio-cultural and economic dimensions of the two Countries.
The Ceremony was commenced with the welcome remarks by the Executive Director CGSS Khalid Taimur Akram, mentioning that this competition proved to be a milestone in establishing people to people contact between Egypt and Pakistan.
Aberdeen GP surgery to provide support to medical practice

The Denburn Medical Practice will be providing clinical care for patients at Old Aberdeen Medical Practice for six months from February 1.
Measures to ensure continued clinical services at an Aberdeen GP practice will begin next month.
Aberdeen City Health & Social Care Partnership (ACHSCP) says a Service Level Agreement (SLA) with the award-winning Denburn Medical Practice will mean services are maintained at Old Aberdeen Medical Practice at the OAMP building until a longer-term solution is agreed.
Denburn will be responsible for providing clinical services for all OAMP patients for a six-month period, starting on February 1.
Train kills three of a family

MALAKWAL: Three members of a family died when a train hit their car at Chak Saida near here on Wednesday. According to Rescue-1122, Ahmed Yar, 70, Aamir Iqbal, 22, and Shawaiz Ahmed, 17, were travelling in a car and the car driver tried to cross a level crossing when a train hit them, leaving Aamir and Shawaiz dead on the spot, while Ahmed Yar died in a Malakwal hospital.
