Is TxDOT Really Quoting Chamillionaire?
Can we start with the fact that I don t know who Chamillionaire is?
I think there s probably a lot of us who don t know who Chamillionaire is. We probably thought the song was from someone else, but yes, TxDOT is Quoting Chamillionaire.
If you haven t seen the message yet, it says:
They see my rollin
They see my rollin
They hatin
I would love to keep quoting the song, but if the words on the highways signs seemed familiar to you, it s no doubt cribbed from the Chamillionaire song (once again, I had to look that up).
Panhandle Plains Historical Museum Taking the Fun to Night
Have you ever been able to explore a museum at night? Things just look so much different. It seems like it could be even more fun. That is what the Panhandle Plains Museum in Canyon is offering this year.
How about a night to get the family and bring your flashlights and just explore. I feel that everything will just have a chance to look so much different. I think it would be pretty cool. So this is an event scheduled for June 11th. There are even different time slots so that there will still be the opportunity to social distance.
The Annual Free Fishing Day In Texas Is Coming Up Fast
Most of us have fond memories of at least one fishing trip when we were kids. I remember the time a hook went through my dad s finger and I had to hold the fishing pole all the way to the hospital. Good times.
Coming up on June 5, Texas will be celebrating that annual start to the summer; Free Fishing Day. It s a chance for us all to get out there on the water and enjoy some time spent fishing, even if you don t have a license.

The Discovery Center in Amarillo Wants to Show You How Toys Work
As the last week of school is upon us we look forward to many things. We want to have dinner with our kids while still having to work. We are looking for camps. We are figuring out how they can still learn during their time off. They can learn and still have a lot of fun.
Case in point the Discovery Center here in Amarillo have just the fun time for you and your family.
