The organisation is most grateful to the Public Health Agency and the CLEAR Project for the support of these programs, without this relationship such workshops would not be feasible.
The program of activity sessions all contained an environmental theme, from hill walking, river discovery walks to the very popular introduction to angling workshops.
Up to thirty participants engaged in this program over a 10 week period, the activities also witnessed a cross over element with the neighbouring Dennett Valley Health Network (Men’s Shed) in Dunamanagh.
A DOCUMENTARY film tracing the history of pageants throughout Britain is being made - and its inspiration comes from an extraordinary Dorset event. Dorset-based Windrose Rural Media Trust is behind the film, looking at pageants dating from the 1900s to the present day. Filming has stopped due to the pandemic but will resume once restrictions are lifted. Its inspiration is the Sherborne Pageant of 1905 which became known as the Mother of All Pageants. Involving an unpaid cast and organising team of 900 with lavish costumes, an orchestra and 50 horses, it played to an audience of thousands. The event made a profit - used to create today’s Pageant Gardens - and set an example which was taken up by communities across Britain and abroad and continued over generations.

BILLINGS â A portion of Governor Greg Gianforteâs proposed Montana budget is aimed at bolstering drug and alcohol treatment, both inside and outside prison walls. He demonstrated his agenda on his first day in office by having Yellowstone County District Court Judge Mary Jane Knisley administer the oath of office. Then, at the top of his speech, he verbally backed up his choice when he thanked the judge.
âSince 2010, you have built a successful treatment court that helps people suffering with drug and alcohol addictions rebuild their lives and become productive members of our communities, Gianforte said.
