NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - New developments this evening in the unclassified death of a 43-year-old Lakeview woman, whose body was found two blocks from her home in the summer of 2019.
The family of Jessica Easterly Durning cries out for answers, which they say have been too few and far between.
Near a quiet dead-end corner in Lakeview, in August 2019, the family of Jessica Easterly Durning got confirmation of their worst fears.
“The very first place we stopped, 2 1/2 blocks away from where she lived with Justin we found her,” said her sister Amanda Barnes.
The wine history of Southern Chile, particularly the regions of Bío Bío and Itata – one of the country’s oldest wine-growing regions – dates back hundreds of years, yet it is only more recently that the regions of the south are gaining increased recognition, particularly for dry-farmed vineyards and old vines.
‘We’ve tried some wonderful wines from the likes of Malleco, Bío Bío and Itata’ commented Peter Richards MW, Regional Chair for Chile, during Decanter World Wine Awards 2020 judging month.
‘The reason is, these areas being slightly further south, slightly cooler, slightly rainier, means a longer growing season, and often dry farmed – no irrigation. That’s great because it makes for really elegant, refreshing wines; wines with a sense of place.

As the nomination deadline of 29 January approaches for the inaugural
Digital Event Awards, we talk to Dr James Morgan, chair of the judging panel, on what he will be looking for during the judging process.
What is your background in the events industry?
That’s a big question. I have been producing events for over 30 years both in the UK and internationally. My first event was volunteering as the chair of my local colleges’ Rage Day Parade. That was an experience of getting chucked in the deep end, although I was studying Hotelkeeping and Catering at the time – an events qualification didn’t exist in those days so I had to develop my own way of event organising.

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - After the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System made the decision to remain virtual to start the next semester, parents have had a wide range of reactions.
“I’m very frustrated because I see the counties around us going back to school.”
“They are doing the right thing by keeping everybody safe.”
A lot of different opinions on the choice for Savannah-Chatham students to remain virtual as the county sees high COVID-19 cases. Some feel this is the safest decision.
