My Game Plan as We Wait for Small-Caps to Follow Through It is premature to declare the rotation back into small-cap stocks is dead.
Apr 27, 2021 | 11:01 AM EDT
Speculative small-caps have failed so far Tuesday to follow through on
Monday s positive action. All the indices except the Russell 2000 are down slightly, and breadth is almost dead even.
Pockets of momentum have slowed, but there is some strength in bitcoin-related stocks and a few other names such as Crocs (CROX) , Camping World (CWH) , Upstart Holdings (UPST) , and DermTech (DMTK) .
It is premature to declare the rotation back into small-caps is dead. It is likely that many traders and investors are still skittish after two months of misery in the speculative favorites, so we may have to wait for buying interest to rebuild again.
