The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) has planned to create facilities for the bus crew members in Hyderabad.
ARSRTC Vice-Chairman and Managing Director R. P. Thakur on Sunday inspected the existing facilities at the BHEL bus station in Hyderabad. He, along with, RTC Executive Director (Operations) K.S. Brahmananda Reddy, Executive Director (Engineering) Krishna Mohan, Chief Civil Engineer Sreenivas and other officials, inspected the 2.25 acre facility and discussed how best the property could be improved.

Telangana officials deputed to monitor the services, says official
The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) is operating more than 3,000 buses to various destinations in Andhra Pradesh for the convenience of passengers visiting their native places. The special services, which began January 10 will continue up to January 18, to clear the festival rush.
“For the first time, TSRTC is operating such a huge number of buses for Sankranti, as part of the agreement reached with the APSRTC to operate our services to different destinations in Andhra Pradesh. The occupancy ratio is good,” a TSRTC official said.

Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation is planning to deliver the couriers. Currently, the corporation is offering logistic services, especially for delivery of couriers and parcels through the DGT buses, and with each passing day, the demand has been increasing.
Earlier, APSRTC have conducted meetings with the Postal Department and various other courier companies and discussed the problems being faced in door delivery.
The postal department of Vijayawada gave a green signal for a trial delivery in the district. The Postal Department is going to charge Rs.10 per cover whereas RTC will discuss decreasing the price rate. These services will be launched soon to other districts as well, officials said.
