The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has denied hiring individuals or groups as consultants for staff recruitment.
Mr Festus Okoye, National Commissioner and Chairman, Information and Voter Education Committee, made this known in a statement in Abuja,” NAN reports.
Okoye urged members of the public to report to security agencies, individuals or group claiming to be consulting for the commission on recruitment of staff.
He said the attention of INEC had been drawn to activities of some fraudsters claiming to be working for the Commission on recruitment of personnel.
He said that unscrupulous elements had gone to the extent of cloning INEC logo and commenced soliciting for applicants for jobs in the Commission.

The Senior Pastor of Trinity Church, Ituah Ighodalo, says it is foolish to reject the COVID-19 vaccine.
Speaking on Arise TV, Ighodalo urged pastors to encourage their congregation to invest their time in getting scientifically proven information from professionals on the COVID-19 vaccine rather than spread conspiracy theories and unverified information.

The Senior Pastor of Trinity House, Ituah Ighodalo, has criticised those who rely on faith to protect them from an infection he claims God has already provided a vaccine for.
This is as some clergymen in Nigeria have tabled arguments against the vaccines developed for the treatment of COVID-19.
The PUNCH reported that Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy slammed fellow pastors for advising their congregation to take a jab of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Apostle Johnson Suleman of the Omega Fire Ministries has criticized the President Muhammadu Buhari government for its swift response to critics.
Apostle Suleman on Monday opined that the government acts so helpless when people are killed but becomes so powerful when citizens speak the truth.
He urged the government to respond to bandits rather than critics.
