Ehsaas Koi Bhooka Na Soye programme a step towards welfare state: PM

Prime Minister Imran Khan formally launched Ehsaas Koi Bhooka Na Soye initiative at a cermony in Islamabad on Wednesday.
Under the initiative, cooked meals will be provided through mobile trucks at designated delivery points to people in need especially those at risk of or experiencing hunger.
Initially, the Ehsaas Food Trucks are being operated in Islamabad and Rawalpindi and at later stage this programme will be further expanded to other parts of the country.
Addressing the launching ceremony, Prime Minister Imran Khan said the programme is a step towards a welfare state, which always cares for its poor and deserving people.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday formally launched the Ehsaas “Koi Bhooka Na Soye” initiative in Islamabad.
Under the initiative, cooked meals will be provided through mobile trucks at designated delivery points to the people in need especially those at risk of or experiencing hunger.

LAHORE: Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and the PTI as well as PML-Q candidates for the Senate discussed on Monday the election strategy in a meeting wherein the candidates were asked to identify MPAs groups who would vote for them. Each candidate requires 46 votes for his election as senator from Punjab.
The CM has directed the provincial ministers to coordinate with the PTI and PML-Q candidates to finalise four sets of MPAs who would vote for the candidates.
Govt announces assistance package for Newspaper Hawkers

The government has announced an assistance package for Newspaper Hawkers and their children under which free medical treatment and educational stipend will be provided.
Secretary Information Zahida Parveen announced the package while addressing a news conference along with Information Minister Syed Shibli Faraz, Managing Director Pakistan Bait-ul-Maal Aon Abbas Bappi and leader of Akhbar Farosh Union Tika Khan in Islamabad this evening.
She said every news hawker would be provided with free medical treatment up to six hundred thousand rupees annually through Pakistan Bait-ul-Maal. She said the package also included provision of educational stipend to the children of hawkers.
