Sharjah and Tunisia discuss ways to promote trade, investment ties

The Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) recently received a delegation from the Tunisian Consulate in Dubai to discuss enhancing bilateral commercial and economic ties and to explore the investment opportunities available for business communities in the two friendly countries.
The meeting was held in the presence of Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman, SCCI, Shahir Dajbi, Consul General of the Republic of Tunisia in Dubai, and Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director General of the SCCI.
Sharjah Gulf Excellence Award withheld due to travel restrictions
SHARJAH, February 9, 2021 The Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Sharjah Excellence Award (SEA) has decided to withhold the Sharjah Gulf Excellence Award for this year due to travel restrictions. The decision came at a meeting to review the developments of the award s work plan in its 2020-2021 edition in light of the amendments made recently to keep pace with the spread of Covid-19, a WAM release said. The meeting was held virtually and chaired by Abdullah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Sharjah Excellence Award (SEC).
