QUETTA: The accountability court of Quetta has sentenced the former secretary of finance Mushtaq Raisaani to 10 years in jail
The accountability courts announced the verdict in a mega corruption case.
The court has ordered the seizure of the property that belongs to the former secretary.
The former adviser on finance, Khalid Lango, has also been convicted and sentenced to two years and two months, whereas the former local government secretary Abdul Basit and former secretary local council Faisal Jamal were acquitted of the charge.
According to the court, Khalid Lango’s sentence would be counted from the day he was arrested, during his trial.

An accountability court in Quetta has sentenced former Balochistan finance secretary Mushtaq Ahmed Raisani to 10 years in prison in a corruption case.
The reserved verdict was announced by Accountability Court-I Judge Munawar Ahmed Shahwani. The court said that his properties should be seized too.
Mir Khalid Lango, the former adviser to Balochistan chief minister, had been given a prison sentence of two years and two months in the same case.

QUETTA (Dunya News) – Accountability court on Tuesday has sentenced former finance secretary Mushtaq Raisani to 10 years in prison in mega corruption case.
While announcing the verdict, the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) court has ordered to seize all the properties of the ex-secretary.
Meanwhile, former finance advisor Balochistan Khalid Lango has been sent to jail for two years and two months while ex-secretary for local bodies Abdul Basit and former local council secretary have been acquitted in the case.
