LAHORE: In its detailed verdict on the post-arrest bail petition of Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif in a money laundering reference, a Lahore High Court full bench has observed that the former chief minister of Punjab faces no allegation of receiving kickbacks or having ill-gotten money.
“Interestingly, the NAB has categorically admitted before us that petitioner is not alleged to have received any kickbacks or any such ill-gotten money in return to a favour extended to someone to build up the assets in the name of his family,” states the verdict issued by the bench comprising Justice Ali Baqar Najafi, Justice Aalia Neelum and Justice Syed Shahbaz Ali Rizvi.

Before performing Tawaf, the doors of the Holy Kaaba were opened for Prime Minister Imran Khan, where he was allowed to witness it from inside.
Earlier, while being in Masjid-e-Nabvi on Saturday, the prime minister was given a rare respect to visit the Sacred Prophetic Chamber, also known as Al Hujratu n-nabawīyatu l-sharīfa. The Sacred Chamber was once the house (Hujra) of Hazrat Aisha (R.A.).

LAHORE/ISLAMABAD: The Lahore High Court (LHC) order Saturday said the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had admitted before the court that the PMLN President and Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif was not alleged to have received any kickbacks or any ill-gotten money in return to a favour extended to someone to build up assets in the name of his family.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Saturday morning barred Shehbaz Sharif from boarding a flight for London at the Lahore Airport despite one-time permission granted a day before by the Lahore High Court to go abroad for treatment.

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday arrived in Madina Munawara barefoot to pay his respects at Roza-e-Rasool (Peace be Upon Him).
On his arrival in the Holy City, the premier was received by Governor of Madina Prince Faisal bin Salman.
The prime minister was accompanied by his delegation including Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, Sindh Governor Imran Ismail, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Governor Shah Farman, Senator Faisal Javed and Punjab minister Abdul Aleem Khan.
