 08 Jan 2021 - 8:48 The Peninsula Feared Algerian striker Baghdad Bounedjah yesterday struck thrice in nine minutes to score four goals as Al Sadd crushed Al Sailya 8-0 in their QNB Stars League match. Bounedjah, who opened the scoring in the 23rd minute, added three more late in the second half (80, 86 and 89) as points leaders Al Sadd created further gap at the top with a commanding show at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium. Korean international Nam-tae Hee (36th and 54th minute) fired a brace while Ali Asadalla (50th minute) and Santiago Cazorla (61st minute) also scored the goals for Al Sadd who remain at the top with 35 points. Yesterday’s clash was the return clash for both sides as teams launched the second phase of the 22-round league. In the first leg, Al Sadd posted a 5-1 win and yesterday Xavi’s boys in all-white looked in little bother to remain unbeaten.
