Health Trust Guide is the first in NI
The Northern Health and Social Care Trust has become the first health and social care Trust in Northern Ireland to partner with AccessAble; the UK’s leading provider of detailed disabled-access information.

The Trust has worked with AccessAble to create over 80 detailed Access Guides to facilities, wards and departments at Antrim Area Hospital and Causeway Hospital, including the maternity services, intensive care units, occupational therapy, and outpatients.
The Guides are 100 per cent facts, figures and photographs to help patients, visitors and staff plan their journeys to and around the hospital, covering everything from parking facilities and hearing loops, to walking distances and accessible toilets.
CORONAVIRUS: Cases decrease by 10% across County Derry
BT49 had the lowest rate per 100,000 over the last week, while Derry City (BT48) remains the highest.

There are further signs of encouragement in County Derry in recent days as the number of positive Covid-19 cases decreased by over 10%, while the county s council areas recorded no deaths.
A total of 175 people tested positive for the virus within the county s postal areas over the last seven days, compared with 195 the previous week; a decrease of 10.3%.
The rate of positivity also fell from 3.4% to 2.8%, while the county s rate per 100,000 of population was reduced from 78.6 to 70.5. It remains above the overall NI figure of 33.7.

Francine McIlveen was 13 when her brother was murdered and the devastation affected every area of her life. She and her brother had attended St Patrick s College in the town but after Michael s death Francine found it impossible to walk the corridors without him. Not seeing him every day and not hearing his voice, it was just unbearable, she explains.
