‘The Queen s Gambit Star Anya Taylor-Joy Reveals True Feelings About Season 2
Fresh from her win from Critics Choice Awards for Best Actress, Anya Taylor-Joy was asked backstage via Zoom how she feels about the fans demands to a second season of The Queen s Gambit.
The 24-year-old Argentine-British revealed, It is obviously incredibly flattering that people want to spend more time with characters that we care so much about and that we poured so much love into.
He added, But we did intend it to be a limited series, so we were all quite surprised when people started asking for Season 2. That being said, never say never.

He created, wrote and produced “Pups Alone” starring Jennifer Love Hewitt and Rob Schneider, and executive-produced Western “The Last Son” with a cast led by Sam Worthington, Machine Gun Kelly, Thomas Jane and Heather Graham. He’s written the next two action thrillers he’ll be producing.

Actress Anya Taylor-Joy marked her first Golden Globe win with a style reference to a major television series.
The American-Argentine-British actress won the award for best actress in a miniseries for her role in The Queen’s Gambit.
The win saw Anya dominate her fellow nominees Cate Blanchett, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Nicole Kidman and Shira Haas.
She was also nominated for a second award for best actress in a motion picture comedy for her role in Emma but Rosamund Pike won in that category for her role in

I Care A Lot, but no matter at least her look deserves recognition. Pike went full couture cupcake in a pinkish-red, voluminous Molly Goddard gown. Not pictured: her platform, black chunky combat boots. It, too, is fun, and like Dan Levy’s suit, it screams Spring. I’m ready for color!
