Owner is reunited with pitbull terrier named Baxter after dognapping in Sydney CBD

20:20 EDT, 10 May 2021 521 shares A pitbull terrier has been reunited with her owner she was allegedly stolen from outside a shopping centre. Baxter, a four-year-old female pit bull terrier, was tied up by her owner outside World Square shopping centre in the Sydney CBD about 8.20pm on Friday. When the distraught owner realised his beloved dog was missing, he contacted police who launched a public appeal to track down Baxter. Baxter, a four-year-old pooch, was allegedly taken last Friday before reuniting with her owner on Monday (pictured)  Police alleged CCTV footage showed a man and a woman heading south on George Street with the pooch.
