Oh, my stars! Do you realize that this is the last Saturday Funnies in January? I marvel how time presses by; Tuesday will be Ground Hog’s day. We’re just two weeks away from Valentine’s Day and, when you are old as I, the memories of love long gone change; we no long mourn what’s gone but we relish back to what happened.

First days are always special in everyone’s lives. Whether it s the first day at school, college or at work. This ‘first day’ brings a lot of excitement and a certain amount of nervousness and while some of you might think that having this nervous feeling after a certain age is not normal, well let us tell you that Amitabh Bachchan feels the same on his first day at work and the feelings are relatable.

This megastar who has worked in innumerable films still has that certain knot in his stomach when he starts shooting for a new film. Dear Lord, where to start. Please tell the haters to stop hating. OK, OK, that s too general. Try this: Tell the people in Idaho that Trump didn t win the election. We know, that s really not how you work, Lord, but if you can part the Red Sea, this shouldn t be such a big deal. The coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has completely changed the way Filipino Catholics celebrate this year’s feast day of the Black Nazarene.
Hourly masses in Quiapo Church or Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene were live-streamed on its official social media page so devotees could still hear mass even in the comfort of their homes.
Church officials limited the number of people inside Quiapo Church to 30 percent to ensure that physical distancing is observed, and in compliance with the guidelines of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases.
Devotees who were unable to physically attend masses posted their prayers on the official Facebook page of Quiapo Church where the hourly masses are live-streamed.
