Health-care tradeoffs create greater risks By: Anne Lindsey
Opinion
WHAT exactly is the logic behind sending home-care workers to do shifts in personal care homes during the COVID-19 pandemic?
The point of home care is to assist people who need help with a variety of physical, personal and health-related necessities in order to stay in their own homes and out of institutional care settings. Public home-care services are provided both for persons with disabilities and for the elderly in our province; my concern in this article is primarily focused on elder care, as it is what I’m more familiar with.
