The 77-year-old really wants to be inoculated.
“It’ll save my life,” she said Monday morning after strolling to a mailbox in the El Segundo sunshine.
But when asked how she planned to accomplish that feat, she shrugged. “I have no idea,” she said.

She’s tried to sign up for an appointment online at least five times with no success.
“The problem is you’re getting messages from so many different levels of government,” said the retired elementary school teacher turned educational hardware and software saleswoman turned real estate developer. “And they don’t always agree. And [the message] changes.”

Anne s sister Linda, 61, was also diagnosed with incurable cancer in March, but is optimistic after finishing treatment in September

Linda - who was recently diagnosed with incurable liver cancer, the third time the illness has returned following her initial breast cancer diagnosis in 2006 and a secondary cancer on her pelvis in 2017 - said: I knew when I went into the room for my appointment because I could tell from the consultantâs demeanour. He turned to me and said the CT scan had shown something on my liver again. I asked if it was cancer and he said yes.
