Sir Robin Knox-Johnston, Dame Ellen MacArthur, Sir Francis Chichester, Dame Naomi James and Bernard Moitessier, to name just a few, would all feature on such a list. But I decided to focus on the sailors who are actively cruising, and whose writing and vlogging over the last two decades have quietly inspired sailors to plan and set sail on their own adventures, even if it was only for a short cruise from their home port or harbour.

Buffs Ready For Unusual Cross Country Season

Feb 1, 2021 BOULDER While no two seasons are ever the same, the 2020 NCAA Cross Country season will likely be an extremely unique case. The University of Colorado cross country teams will start the 2020 season in February of 2021. And the Buffaloes are not the only team to start the delayed many other NCAA Division I schools postponed the start of several seasons this past fall due to the COVID-19 pandemic.   But there were some schools and conferences that raced their usual season, August through October. But the big prize, the NCAA Championship, did not happen on November 21, 2020, in Stillwater, Okla., as originally scheduled. To accommodate those postponing seasons, the NCAA moved the championship back to March 15, 2021, but kept the location the same.

Tony Thompson and his staff at Bewdley Farm Shop have worked incredibly long hours during the pandemic to deliver food to elderly and vulnerable customers who haven t been able to get out to the shop. Kay Wood, who nominated Bewdley Farm Shop, said: Tony and his team have been doing free delivery of fruit and vegetables since the beginning of lockdown. Their service is fantastic.
