Black History Month means different things to different people. To me, it is about including myself and reflecting on the history and accomplishments of Black People in Canada and around the world. They are also often unaware that those who fought enslavement pioneered what is now a diversified and somewhat inclusive Canada (there is still a lot of work to be done in terms of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion across all sectors).
