But since then, the numbers have shot up astronomically and on May 5, there were 734 new cases in the country. The numbers are increasing at an alarming rate which has forced Maldives FA to request AFC to postpone the games.

ATK Mohun Bagan defeated North East United FC 2-1 in the second leg of the semi-final of the 2020-21 ISL at the Fatorda Stadium. ATK Mohun Bagan won the tie 3-2 on aggregate and will now play Mumbai City FC in the final.
David Williams netted the opening goal for the Mariners in the 38th minute. Manvir Singh doubled his side’s lead in the 68th minute. Suhair Vadakkepeedika halved the deficit for the Highlanders before Luis Machado missed their chance to level the score from a penalty.
