Ansonia PD: Suspects in stolen car took woman s purse

ANSONIA Police are asking for the public’s help to identify individuals they say are connected with a recent purse snatching at a local store.
Just before noon Monday, officers responded to a report of a purse snatching in the parking lot of Shop & Shop at 100 Division St.
The victim told police she was putting groceries in her car when a man approached and grabbed her purse.
After a struggle, the man took the purse and fled in a black 2008 Lexus IS with Massachusetts license plate 6NS242. Police said the car had been reported stolen to Orange police.
