Batwoman may have a new lead, but the politics are as bad as ever. With several subtle victimization jabs in the past few episodes, the superhero series finally makes a bold move by supporting the ACAB (All Cops Are Bastards) movement. Again, this is supposed to be our hero, ladies and gentlemen.
The February 21 episode “Gore on Canvas” has both the new Batwoman aka Ryan Wilder (Javicia Leslie) and the private security firm known as the Crows working to find and recover a black-market painting. This painting, it turns out, can decipher the location of where a group of assassins is holding the previous Batwoman, Kate Kane. Unfortunately, Ryan has a visceral hatred for the Crows after a previous experience with them, and she makes that clear to the Crows leader Commander Kane (Dougray Scott).

The Media Research Center (MRC) found more than 200 items promoting violence against President Donald Trump, Republicans and law enforcement officers. A black shirt with the slogan “Kill All Republicans” printed in front – which was even a sponsored listing on the online shopping platform – was part of the MRC’s discoveries.
The MRC found that Amazon carried other shirts with violent messages on them. One T-shirt had the slogan “Hospitalize Your Local Fascist,” with a knife with a drop of blood being part of its design. Another shirt featured a guillotine as its main design, with an expletive printed on it. Meanwhile, another vendor sold shirts encouraging violence against trans-exclusionary radical feminists and members of the alt-right.
Amazon terminated its contract with free speech platform Parler for “violent content on your website.” But Amazon itself deals with merchandise that advocates the death of all Republicans or specifically targets President Donald Trump.
The Media Research Center found at least 204 examples of merchandise sold on Amazon that promoted violence, either toward President Donald Trump, Republicans or members of the police force. Riot gear, including tasers, brass knuckles and stun sticks were also sold. Some of these violent products included a flag with a graphic image of Trump blowing his brains out, a mug with the slogan “Where is Lee Harvey Oswald now that we really need him?” and a black T-shirt with a red slogan, “Kill All Republicans.” The shirt that urged the death of Republicans was even a sponsored listing on Amazon.
