The Marble Falls High School theater program wrapped up its one-act play season with a silver-medal performance.
The troupe performed scenes from “The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane” in the University Interscholastic League’s Class 5A one-act play state contest April 30 at the Hartfield Performing Arts Center in Round Rock. The Marble Falls team was one of eight that advanced to the state meet. Four teams performed April 30 and the remaining ones on May 1.

Released last April 28, the romance drama movie is helmed by the Making Family and Suicide Forecast director Jo Jin Mo. Waiting in the Rain, also dubbed as Story of You and the Rain, revolved around the romance of Young Ho, played by Kang Ha Neul and So Hee, portrayed by Chun Woo Hee, through exchanging letters.
With this, they become each other s source of comfort as they get to know more about each other.

During their press conference, the 31-year-old actor revealed his thoughts upon accepting his role in Waiting in the Rain.
Hot FM During the recent Regional UIL One-Act Play competition held on April 14 in Frisco, TX, three Texas High School students were honored with individual awards.
Maddie Frost was named as an All Star Cast Member. Jeremy Creek received Honorable Mention All-Star Cast and Braylen Garren was named Outstanding Tech.

Early High School to have public performance one one-act play

EARLY Early High School s public performance of the award-winning play Ada and The Engine by Lauren Gunderson will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday, April 12, at the high school.
The play tells the story of the life, loves, and achievements of Ada Byron Lovelace, daughter of famed poet Lord Byron and the woman credited as the first ever computer programmer.
Donations are appreciated, but there is no fee for admission.
The theatre department took the play to One-Act-Play competition and advanced to the bi-district level.
