HOUSTON, April 14, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Oasis Midstream Partners LP (NYSE: OMP) (the Partnership or OMP ) today announced that Daniel E. Brown, Oasis Chief Executive Officer, has been elected to serve on the board of directors of the general partner of OMP, and he is expected to be elected by the board of directors of the general partner (the GP Board ) to serve as Chairman of the GP Board.

HOUSTON, April 14, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Oasis Petroleum Inc. ( Oasis or the Company ) (NASDAQ:OAS) today announced that it has appointed Daniel E. Danny Brown as Chief Executive Officer effective April 13, 2021. At the same time, Mr. Brown was also appointed to the Oasis Board of Directors.
Mr. Brown has 23 years of experience in the oil and natural gas industry having spent his career with Anadarko Petroleum Corporation, or one of its predecessors, until Anadarko was acquired by Occidental Petroleum in August 2019. From October 2017 to August 2019, Mr. Brown served as Anadarko s Executive Vice President, U.S. Onshore Operations. HARRISBURG – The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania almost unanimously sided with natural gas companies in finding that State Attorney General Josh Shapiro’s office can’t target practices connected to the leasing of mineral rights, under the auspices of the Unfair Trade Practice and Consumer Protection Law.
State Supreme Court justices issued the 6-1
ruling on March 24, in favor of Anadarko Petroleum Corporation and Chesapeake Energy Corporation, that the AG’s office cannot use the UTPCPL to take legal action on behalf of sellers against buyers.
This action reversed the rulings of lower courts in Pennsylvania.
Justices Sallie Updyke Mundy, Thomas G. Saylor, Debra Todd, Christine Donohue, David N. Wecht and Chief Justice Max Baer all voted in the affirmative, with Justice Kevin M. Dougherty casting the lone dissenting vote.
