WWE has reportedly added a former EVOLVE Tag Team Champion to its Performance Center roster. PWInsider reports that according to multiple sources, Anthony Henry has signed with the company and will be training at the PC ahead of his eventual NXT debut.
Henry has worked for Premiere Wrestling Xperience, EVOLVE, FIP, and ACTION Wrestling among other companies. He was the FIP World Heavyweight Champion for 509 days from late 2018 to early 2020 and held the EVOLVE Tag Titles with James Drake in 2017. Henry posted to Twitter to say farewell to the indies, as you can see below:
With that being said, I am extremely proud of my matches last night, especially the last fight with @RealJDDrake. Once it drops, please go watch it. We left all out in the ring. https://t.co/uSUYgQeiu2
Renee Paquette Invites Vince McMahon To Be A Guest On Her Podcast Posted By: Joe West on Jan 20, 2021
Former WWE television personality Renee Paquette, formerly known as Renee Young, sent out the invitation on Twitter for Vince McMahon to appear on her podcast.
This comes following her most recent guest, which was AEW owner and booker Tony Khan.
Tony Khan spoke very highly of Renee following the appearance, calling her a great host and saying it was the best conversation he had ever had.
Thank you for having me on your show! It was so much fun catching up, & you’re such a great host, it was the best conversation! So good, in fact, that I forgot several times throughout the chat that we were recording a show! Also, I can’t wait for Jon to finish writing this book!
