This week s event was held in the Deckers parking lot from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. in Goleta. The Foodbank explained it holds these distribution events on Saturdays to give more working residents the opportunity to collect healthy, fresh food for their families. Saturday s distribution is to make sure the families have food to eat, said Anthony Rodriguez, Operations and Disaster Services Specialist with the Foodbank.
