PLEASANTON, Calif., Feb. 9, 2021 /PRNewswire/ Adapdix Corporation, the digital transformation leader in Edge AI automation and intelligent control software, today announced that it has received funding from SoftBank s Opportunity Fund, pushing the total investment amount secured by Adapdix up to $10 million. After a short interrogation, police searched the vehicle and found a container which had less than one gram of cannabis in it. Police attended Hill s address at a later date for questioning and he made full admissions of being in possession of the drugs. Solicitor Rio Ramos said her client had been smoking cannabis for nine years and she asked that Acting Magistrate John Milburn acknowledge the small amount of drugs involved. Mr Milburn fined Hill $400 and no conviction was recorded.
Payroll glitch means some city employees get very small paychecks
BALTIMORE (WJZ) Public works employees in Baltimore say they haven’t been paid a proper paycheck so far this year.
“When I first looked at it, I thought they were playing a joke. I thought I was on TV, or let’s make a joke,” Trent Cunningham, a DPW worker, said.
Cunningham, a Baltimore City water employee, showed WJZ a $2.10 paycheck dated January 15.
“We have guys here, including myself, who haven’t been paid in over a month,” he said.
Dozens of public works employees gathered outside of City Hall on Friday, calling for answers.
