Four men convicted of savage and brutal robbery which left victims traumatised Four men have been convicted following a robbery which left a man with serious gunshot wounds to his knee and ankle.  Alan Daniels, 38, of Oaklee Grove, Liverpool, Craig Reynolds, 36, of Birchmuir Hey, Liverpool, Anthony Hill, 40 of Oakdale Close, Liverpool and Dean Sanders, 32, of St Andrews Court, North Shields, were convicted at Preston Crown Court on Wednesday. Police were called around 9.40pm on July 28, 2019, after a man had been injured during a robbery at a farm on Back Lane in Aughton, close to Ormskirk. Officers, including armed police, attended the address and found the man, 65, with serious gunshot wounds to his ankle and knee.
