Remdesivir black marketing: Over 250 injections recovered from Andheri shop, two held Mirror Online / Updated: Apr 9, 2021, 10:54 IST Mumbai: Amid a shortage of Remdesivir, a key medicine in the treatment of coronavirus, the Andheri area of the city. Two persons have been arrested in connection to the incident. According to the police, the injections were recovered from GR Pharma in Jogeshwari, where they had been stocked for black marketing. The seized injections will be sent to various surrounding hospitals for treatment of critical patients. Further investigation in the case is underway, officials said. In a similar incident, a man was nabbed from Andheri East on Thursday evening with 12 vials of Remdesivir with him. Identified as Sarfaraz Hussain (22), the accused was held after the crime branch of the Mumbai Police received a tip-off and laid a trap.

It warned that the traders would launch an aggravated statewide agitation beginning April 8 if the state did not end the illogical lockdown by that time.
