SF Health Department releases rules for proms
Organizers say the goal is to provide better access for people to get vaccinated at more convenient locations.
May 18 - May 22: Antioch Middle, Concord High
May 25 - May 29: Edna Hill Middle (Brentwood), Pinole Valley High (Pinole), Pittsburg High, Ygnacio Valley High (Concord)
June 1 - June 5: Acalanes High (Lafayette), Dallas Ranch Middle (Antioch), Freedom High (Oakley) , Iron Horse Middle (San Ramon), Kennedy High (Richmond), Mt. Diablo High (Concord)
June 8 - June 12: Antioch Middle, California High (San Ramon), Concord High, De Anza High (Richmond), Las Lomas High (Walnut Creek), Liberty High (Brentwood)

The Oasis Center's Bike Workshop at Antioch Middle School started sessions about two months ago with students picking out used, dusty, donated bicycles donated to the Oasis Center. Since then, for an hour a week, students have learned how to rebuild a bike, by doing it themselves.
Officials told NBC Bay Area they will expand to more schools each week through July 10.
Now, that children 12 and older are eligible, officials are hoping to make it as easy as possible for them to get shots. They have the potential to spread it still, and we know that the vaccine helps prevent the spread of the COVID virus,” Dr. Ted O Connell, Kaiser Permanente Chief of Family and Community Medicine.
Across the Bay Area, other districts are doing the same. Students got their shots on campus at Palo Alto High School Sunday during a weekend clinic and in Berkeley, 13-year-old Chahd Othmane got her shot as soon as she was eligible.
