Boise, Bureau of Land Management respond to wildfire near Lucky Peak Hayat Norimine, The Idaho Statesman Jul. 10 Fire crews from multiple agencies on Friday night responded to a blaze south of Lucky Peak Reservoir that has stretched through 320 acres, according to the Bureau of Land Management. Firefighters contained the fire late Friday after crews from the Bureau of Land Management in Idaho, the U.S. Forest Service and Boise Fire responded to the burn near Bonneville Point southeast of Boise. BLM estimated the control time for the fire to be 6 p.m. on Sunday. The cause was still under investigation as of Friday night.

It started near Bonneville Point and is now being called the Bonnie Fire. No cause of the fire has yet to be reported. According to a spokesperson for the Bureau of Land Management, the fire started near Bonneville Point, which is found near Kuna Mora Road. The fire has since been dubbed the Bonnie Fire. Ada County Dispatchers told KTVB that it was a grass fire and crews from multiple agencies were responding. They added that no structures are currently threatened.
