NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - For the past 22 days, the trauma service area that includes Angelina and Nacogdoches counties has had a hospitalization rate of 15 percent or more of its hospitals’ total capacity.
On Wednesday, the Texas Department of State Health Services reported that TSA H’s hospitalization rate rose to 23.88 percent and 2 ICU beds are available.
The last time that TSA H was below the 15-percent threshold was on Dec. 18.
On Wednesday, the Texas Department of State Health Services reported a hospitalization rate of 20.73 percent, which is down from the number posted Tuesday.

On Monday, the Texas Department of State Health Services reported that TSA Hâs hospitalization rate was at 22.99 percent. On the previous day, that rate was 26.53 percent.
