Officials said Tuesday a non-profit donated a bullet-proof and stab-proof vest for K9 Wick.  Wick will receive his vest in eight to 10 weeks. It will be embroidered with the phrase: Born to Love, Trained to Serve, Loyal Always.

(KAIT) - Jonesboro police are investigating another catalytic converter theft, this time at an appliance store. A Jonesboro police incident report says a police officer went to Metro Appliances, 2701 E. Parker Road, about 8:15 a.m. April 5 due to theft. The report notes a catalytic converter was stolen from a 2019 Isuzu box truck and a 2016 Supreme Corp. box truck. It’s believed the theft happened between 8 a.m. April 2 and 8:32 a.m. April 5. No suspect information is available. On March 26, police responded to First United Methodist Church on South Main Street to report a theft.
