1/1 POLICE have been out in force on the roads in Bolton and have reported a number of incidents they have been dealing with. Officers spotted a grey BMW 1 Series on St Peter s Way being driven without fog lights in poor weather and appeared to be driving at speed, police say. The vehicle was stopped on Higher Bridge Street and after a roadside breath test, a man was arrested on suspicion of drink driving. In another incident on St Peter s Way, police stopped a VW Golf and officers said they found it was not insured. The car was seized and the driver was given a traffic offence report (TOR).
