Tisbury PD brings charity into compliance
Years worth of state filings occur after records inquiry.
The Tisbury Police Relief Association, a nonprofit run by the department s officers, has chronically filed late paperwork.
The Tisbury Police Relief Association, a charity run by Tisbury Police officers, has brought years’ worth of state filings into compliance following records requests made by The Martha’s Vineyard Times.
State records show that over its 29-year existence, the association has almost continually been out of compliance with either the corporate division of the Massachusetts Secretary of State’s Office or the nonprofit and charity division of the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office.

âI can afford to do it, and I want to do it,â Stoltzfus says. âI do this in my own home. ⦠Itâs important.â
Stoltzfus is by far not the only one investing in air purification. The U.S. portable air purifier market was valued at over $1 billion in 2020, according to a report from research and consulting firm Verify Markets.
