Drowning in debt: Budget services reveal clients owe $50m - and rising 20 Apr, 2021 06:00 PM 5 minutes to read Some people in the Bay are drowning in debt. Photo / Getty Images Struggling Bay of Plenty families are drowning in debt - with cripplingly high-interest loans driving many to despair. Two Bay budget services, whose clients have accumulated more than $50 million in arrears, say debt levels are soaring, along with housing costs, and the financial fallout of Covid-19 on working families is still being felt. Some clients were struggling to survive, people were sleeping in cars and children were going to school hungry.

Raincheck: Tap Pack returns after 2020 COVID cancellation

Premium Content Subscriber only Following sold-out performances in London’s West End and at the Sydney Opera House, Tap Pack is heading to Queensland after last year’s COVID hiccup. The tap dance sensation will begin with a season at Queensland Performing Arts Centre from April 18-24 and then head to regional Queensland and NSW. Tap Pack producer Kym Halpin said 2020 had tested all the team but “the guys are so excited to be getting back on stage together”. “The arts and entertainment industry has been pushed to the brink but we have held on because ultimately we love what we do and we know you do too,” she said.

Rutgers early signing period analysis: Class of 2021 strengths, weaknesses, immediate-impact players | Hunt

Rutgers early signing period analysis: Class of 2021 strengths, weaknesses, immediate-impact players | Hunt Updated Dec 18, 2020; Facebook Share The early signing period will end Saturday morning at 12 a.m., leaving just hours for teams to make last effort moves. Staffs are scouring the transfer portal like their jobs depend on it (because they do), taking advantage of these final hours to improve their respective rosters. Rutgers has thus far signed 22 players to its 2021 class, ranked 41st in the country and 10th in the Big Ten per 247Sports, while Rivals.com has Rutgers’ class ranked 32nd nationally. But that doesn’t tell the story as this is a strong class full of players who should help immediately. And I wouldn’t be surprised if Rutgers gets more help along the defensive line before the period ends. Here are a few observations I’ve made about the early signing period thus far.
