When it comes to sports, Stephen A Smith is one of those names we all know. Whether it s judging him on his political views or outspoken rhetoric of professional sports or the players, there is no doubt you are familiar with his name. One thing I was not aware of was Baby Stephen A Smith. If one wasn t enough for you, wait until you get a load of this little man.
You already know this is going to become a meme soon enough, and I wouldn t be surprised if Stephen doesn t capitalize on this himself and create something that will be a phenomenon. I think I have officially seen it all.

Saul Canelo Alvarez s goal of taking over the super middleweight division got off to a fine start Saturday night, as the Mexican superstar defeated Callum Smith via unanimous decision at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
The judges scored the fight 119-109, 119-109, 117-13 in favor of Alvarez. He deserved every point in what was one of the strongest performances of his career.
The 30-year-old s full complement of skills was on display against Smith, who suffered the first loss of his career. Alvarez s jab was accurate, he mixed up punches to the head and body well and his defensive work kept him from taking much damage. He dominated the bigger man from start to finish.

The Cleveland Indians are no more. The team was already scrapping mascot Chief Wahoo said to be “racist” and now, the name itself is gone. It’s nothing new; the Indians join the Washington Redskins, the University of North Dakota Fighting Sioux, and the William & Mary Tribe (formerly the “Indians.”) President Donald Trump tweeted that it was “cancel culture at work.”
It’s more than that. It’s about power and racial collective interests. If it is offensive to have Indian mascots, is it offensive to have white ones? The answer is that it depends.

Acelino Freitas 12th-round knockout of Argentinian contender Jorge Barrios last Saturday night was a good action fight with a sensational ending. A certain boxing observer who shall here remain nameless (Brian Kenny) went so far as to call it 2003 s Fight of the Year.
While Freitas-Barrios was no James Toney-Vassily Jirov or Arturo Gatti-Micky Ward III, its final two rounds were perhaps as dramatic an ending as any this year.
After an even, back and forth, somewhat awkward brawl over the first 10 rounds, Barrios floored Ring Magazine s top rated 130-pounder in the 11th with a right hand. Brazil s only boxing superstar rose on unsteady legs, but since his mouthpiece was knocked out by the punch that sent him down, he was given extra time to recover as the referee would not let the action continue until the mouthpiece was rinsed and put back in.
