A Thunder Bay justice of the peace is facing questions about her professional conduct.
A notice of hearing indicates there is a complaint accusing the justice of acting as an advocate for her son in a legal matter he was involved in.
The hearing will decide if the alleged conduct occurred and whether it constituted judicial misconduct.
According to the document she invited judicial officers assigned to preside over her son’s matter to her house for dinner.
It is there where the alleged conduct took place.
If the complaint against Anna Gibbon is upheld she could be facing anything from a warning to a 30-day suspension.
