YMKG Captain Peter Lackman says the krewe believes it s in the community s best interest to refrain from festivities this year. The krewe now plans to hold the next Gasparilla Children s Parade January 22, 2022, with the Pirate Fest a week later on Saturday, January 29th. Ticketholders for 2021 may ask for a refund or a rollover to next year. They may also donate the value to the krewe s Community Fund.
