New Shadow Pokemon and Shiny Shadow Pokemon
The event contains a bunch of new shadow Pokemon. These are available when beating specific Team GO Rocket Grunts and include the likes of Swinub, Nosepass, Aron, Spheal, Lileep and Anorith. There is also a handful of new shiny shadow Pokemon available. These can be caught after defeating Team GO Rocket leaders and include shiny shadow Aerodactyl and Shiny shadow Beldum.
New Field Research, Raid Bosses and Boosted Spawns
The event also includes a range of new field research tasks. These include Catch 7 Poison-type Pokemon, Purify 3 Shadow Pokemon, Defeat 2 Team GO Rocket Grunts and Catch 15 Dark-type Pokemon. Those tasks reward Gligar, Misdreavus, Nidoran F or Nidoran M and Umbreon respectively.
