After the Italian’s exit, it immediately became apparent he was heading for a role with Alpine and he joins Laurent Rossi in spearheading the rebranded Renault team’s challenge from the 2021 season onwards. “We are delighted to confirm Davide Brivio will strengthen our team ahead of the 2021 FIA Formula 1 World Championship season,” Alpine said in a statement. “His specific role and responsibilities will be announced in the coming weeks.
