Atlantic City Police: Man Found Hanging From a Tree
The Atlantic City Police Department has launched an investigation after a man s body was found hanging in a tree Friday afternoon.
Authorities say the scene unfolded around 2:45 when officers were called to New Hampshire and Melrose Avenues.
Medical personnel and the Atlantic City Fire Department arrived at the scene and the man, only identified as being 21-years-old and from Atlantic City, was pronounced dead.
BreakingAC.com reports the man s body was about 12 feet off of the ground.

According to the ACPD, the body was recovered and taken to the Southern Regional Medical Examiner’s Office where an autopsy will be performed.

Man Wanted by Feds Rescued and Arrested by Atlantic City Cops
It was a wild scene in Atlantic City Monday that started with cops allegedly witnessing a drug deal in a parking lot and ended with one of the suspects, who was wanted on the Federal-level, being rescued from the bay.
The Atlantic City Police Department says two of their detectives, Christopher Smith and Christopher Dodson, were in the area of Texas and Pacific Avenues Monday when they observed a Ford Explorer in a parking lot. They say two people in that SUV engaged in a drug deal with a man who approached them. After the transaction, that man returned to his vehicle and left; additional detectives began to follow that vehicle.
