Atlas Honda has once again increased the prices of its motorcycles.
Honda CD70, the most selling motorcycle in Pakistan, will now cost Rs81,900 after an increase of Rs2,400.
This is the second time Atlas Honda has increased its bike prices in January. The company has the biggest market share in the two-wheel segment of the auto industry.
Its top-of-the-line bike CB150F will now cost Rs250,900 after a hike of Rs3,400. The price of CB125F has gone up by a similar amount to Rs195,900.
Hi Speed Announces a Huge Price Hike for Its Entire Bikes Lineup
One of the well-known local bike manufacturers of Pakistan, Hi-Speed, announced a price hike for its entire bike lineup two days ago. In a startling development, however, it has been revealed that Hi-Speed has introduced a maximum price hike of Rs. 20,000 for one of its bikes.
Hi-Speed, owned by Raazy Motors (PVT) LTD, is not only known for selling locally produced bikes in Pakistan but also has a few respectable Chinese bikes in its lineup as well, that it imports as CBUs and sells in Pakistan. The bike maker has products ranging from 70cc to 200cc bikes in its lineup, as well as a few 3-wheeled loaders.
Honda Atlas Cars Announces a Massive Turnaround in 3rd Quarter
Honda Atlas Cars Pakistan Ltd. (HCAR) announced its financial results for the third quarter that ended December 31, 2020.
The company has reported a profit of Rs. 751.80 million during the 3rd quarter. It had reported a loss of Rs. 41.25 in the same period last year. During the first nine months, the profits of the company grew by 26.40 percent to Rs. 897.65 million as compared to Rs. 710.15 million.
During this quarter, the company sales bounced back massively by 80 percent to Rs. 17.64 billion as compared with Rs. 9.86 billion recorded in the same period last year, with multiple price hikes. The cost of sales was reported at Rs. 16.49 billion, up by 80 percent compared to Rs. 9.21 billion. This took the gross profits to Rs. 1.15 billion, up by 78.02 percent compared to Rs. 646 million.

Atlas Honda will be increasing prices of its motorbikes in Pakistan from January 5, a source and bike dealers told SAMAA Money Friday.
The company has asked dealerships not to take orders for some time, a Honda motorcycle dealer said.
âThis happens when the company plans on increasing the motorcycle prices,â he said.
The price of Honda CD70 Dream may go up by Rs3,000. It would be priced at Rs85,500 after the hike, according to a source familiar with the development.
